Bachan 1:

In every Age, The Lord descends in this world in the form of Satguru and in this Age of Kali Yuga (Kalyug), the Lord has descended in the Form of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Baba Nand Singh Sahib once said: Guru Nanak Patshah is the Master of Kali Yuga but only a rare soul has the vision to see this truth. In this Age and time, meditate upon Guru Nanak, recite His Amrit Bani, concentrate on the Lotus Feet of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, always remain absorbed in the holy name bestowed by Guru Nanak Patshah. In every Age, the Satguru is only discovered and revealed to the word by some rare person. Gradually, when His bhagats (devotees) arrive and spread the Gospel about the amazing stories of the Satguru, and of His unique divine virtues, that the world finds out the true Glory of The Satguru.

How does one come to know of the supreme divine virtues and greatness of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib. We do not have the capability to see the True Greatness of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, but would try to endeavour to learn what we can in the light of the Holy Bani of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

Baba Nand Singh Sahib once told a Holy Story of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji as follows:

Guru Nanak Patshah is sitting in a congregation and is holding a "Takka Masooli" (currency coin of that time) in His hands. He is switching the coin between His hands. Then showing it to the sangat Guru Nanak Sahib asks, "What is in our Hands?" to which everyone replies, "Sache Patshah, Takka Masooli". Guru Nanak patshah repeated the question and the sangat gives the same reply. Bhai Lehna Ji (Sri Guru Angad Sahib) alone is silent. Looking at Bhai Lehna Ji, Guru Nanak Sahib ask the same question, but He remains silent. On being asked the second time, this is how Bhai Lehna Ji Replied:

"In the King's hand lies his entire kingdom. How dare an insignificant person like me even guess what all you have in your hands. Oh Sache Patshah, Master of all the Three Worlds, you hold in your hands the kingdom of all the Three worlds. You hold in your hands all the blessings of the Dargah, the Sachkhand, and You may at your own will, bestow any of these on whoever You may like."

Guru Angad Sahib (Bhai Lehna Ji) had recognized Lord Guru Nanak like no-one else. He possessed the Nirankar Bhawna, and the Nirankar Drishti.

Having Himself lived the life of humblest of Sikhs at the Lotus Feet of Sri Guru Amar Das Ji, Sri Guru Ram Das Ji writes in the Holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib - "Waho Waho Satgur Nirankar Hai, Jis Ant Na Paravar".

Baba Nand Singh Sahib once said that people make big statements about God being present everywhere, but if they do not happen to see Him in their own Satguru, they can be sure that enlightenment (Praptagi) is nowhere close to them.

As Guru Ram Das Ji, has made it clear in another Shabad "Satgur Nu Jeha Ko Ichhda Teha Phal Paye Koye" One is rewarded by how highly one thinks of His Satguru.

Bachan 7:

Once at 203, Sector 33A, Chandigarh (the residence of Brig. Partap Singh Ji Jaspal (Retd.)), a Kirtan Darbar was under progress. Sisters of Brig. Partap Singh Ji were performing the Kirtan and Baba Narinder Singh Sahib was "immersed in a deep spiritual state". The Shabad being recited at that time was - "Kot Brahmand Ko Thankur Swami, Sarab Jeeyan Ka Daata Re ... Gur Nanak Jin Sunya Bhekhya Te Phir Garbhas Na Pareya Re"

After the Bhog, Baba Narinder Singh Sahib himself revealed the reason for the amazing divine state he was in, when queried by his holy daughters. Baba Narinder Sahib replied that when the Shabad "Kot Brahmand Ko Thankur Swami, Sarab Jeeyan Ka Daata Re" was being recited, Baba Nand Singh Sahib blessed thus: "Do you want to see the Supreme Grandeur, the Supreme Godliness, the Supreme Powers of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib?"

The biggest blessing the Lord bestows upon the world is when He Himself incarnates in this world in the form of Satguru. Only one who is truly immersed in His holy name can envision Him.

Baba Nand Singh Sahib then revealed a Most Glorious Form of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib bursting with Parkash. In that Grand Universal form, Baba Narinder Sahib saw Brahmand (unique universe) in every pore. "Sarab Jeeyan Ka Daata Re" - then Baba Nand Singh Sahib blessed in that vision that in every Brahmand (Universe) Suns and Moons are shining, and there are Skies, Mountains, rivers, many species of plants and animals and they are all operating under His Supreme Command. And from every corner of these worlds, a divine melodies music is emanating, all the skies of these world were singing the same tune in unison, and that tune was - "Dhan Guru Nanak Tuhi Nirankar."

Bachan 9:

Detailed Explanation of the Shabad of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib:
"Aape Qudrat Saaj Ke Aape Kare Vichar,
Ek Khote Ek Khare Aape Parkhanhar."

The Lord created the whole world and then Himself examines everyone. He saves the pure ones (Khare) in his treasure, and throws the impure ones (Khote) away. Who should the impure ones who have been condemned, beg for their redemption. As Baba Narinder Singh Sahib once explained that Satguru has 3 forms - "Tu" (Lord), "Prem" (Love) and "Daya" (Mercy). Satguru is an ocean of Mercy and forgave the biggest of sinners. Guru Nanak Sahib gave His All for our deliverance because of mercy upon us.

Listen to what a Mercy Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib had upon us. For the sake of us, impure ones, He created the purest one - the "Adarsh Jeev" - the Ideal one, and called him His Khalsa (from Khalas, the pure).

Baba Narinder Singh Sahib while referring to the Holy Hymn - "Mera Maat Pita Gur Satgur Poora", said, "Can there be Parents like Sri Guru Nanak Sahib or Sri Guru Granth Sahib".

Every child howsoever pure or impure has equal right to the lap of his parents. We must always remember the Bachan of Baba Nand Singh Sahib: "There is delay in throwing ourselves, in all humility and devotion, at the Lotus Feet of our Beloved Sri Guru Granth Sahib but there is no delay in Sri Guru Nanak Sahib showering His Grace in saving us."
