Tercentenary Gurta Gaddi Diwas and Past Centenaries
On each of the sacred centenaries that have been celebrated
in the recent past, Guru Nanak Daata Baksh Lai Mission has participated and
contributed to the best of its ability by producing and offering Video
programmes of the highest standard at the Lotus Feet of our Gurus. With the
grace of Sri Guru Nanak Patshah, the results have been amazing, and way beyond
our expectations. Here is a brief account.
400th Anniversary of First Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Granth Sahib On the Quadi Centenary of First Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, celebrated in September 2004, we had released two Programmes on Sri Guru Granth Sahib - “Satgur Pyare Arjan Ne Ik Nava Jahaaj Banaya Hai,” and “400 Saal Hoye Saada Chand Chadeya.” You may watch them at: Sri Guru Granth Sahib - First Parkash Utsav - Video 1 and Sri Guru Granth Sahib - 400 Saal Hoye Sada Chand Chadeya As the event was celebrated on a national level, Sony TV channel approached us to play the programme “400 Saal Hoye Saada Chand Chadeya” on their channel in honour of this Sacred occasion. We provided the programme in the desired format and the programme telecast on The Sony TV Channel on this Sacred Day – September 1, 2004. On the same day, the other programme was telecast on the reputed “Balle Balle” Punjabi TV Channel. First ever Video Screening at Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib Later that month, when Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib, Nanded celebrated this Occasion on September 15, 2004, the Head Jathedar (Bhai Sahib Bhai Kulvinder Singh Ji) and Management at The Takht, (headed by Ladoo Singh Ji Mahajan) approached us to show the Videos to the Entire Sangat at the Gurdwara Sahib. Our team went to Sri Huzur Sahib to provide complete technical support in organizing this event without any liability on the Management or the Gurdwara Board. For the first time in the history of the Takht, a 3 hour video programme was shown in the Gurdwara premises to the entire congregation in a very large pandal on a very large screen set up specifically for this purpose. 300th Anniversary of Martyrdom of Mata Gujri Ji and Sahebzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Our mission prepared two holy albums on the Martyrdom of the Younger and the Elder Sahebzadas respectively – Sirhind Dian Gallaan, Chamkaur dian Gallaan – Vol 1 and Vol 2. On special request from the reputed Punjabi Channel - ETC Punjabi, these programmes were played on their channel to mark this sacred occasion. You may watch the Albums at Tribute to Martyrdom of Sahibzade - Vol 1 and Tribute to Martyrdom of Sahibzadey - Vol 2 400th Anniversary of Martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji On this Most Pious event in the spiritual history we had prepared two soul-stirring video albums “Satgur Mera Sarab Prit Palai, Satgur Mera Maar Jeevalai” and “Bhane Jevad Hor Daat Nahi” The Videos were played on the reputed Punjabi channels “Zee Alpha” and “Balle Balle” on the sacred day of Quadi-centenary of Martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji. The two videos are available at Tribute to Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji - Vol 1 and Martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji - Vol 2 The above programmes have also since been played over and over again on various TV channels and cable networks on popular demand. We earnestly request you to watch the above mentioned albums at the given links to see for yourselves the standard of these videos. Our programmes are primarily done in 3D computer graphics, a concept usually employed only in high-budget films. 300th Anniversary of Gurta Gaddi Diwas of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Guru Nanak Daata Baksh Lai Mission worked tirelessly since 2007 towards offering humble tributes at the Lotus Feet of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib on the Sacred Tercentenary Gur-Ta-Gaddi Diwas. We lauched a new website Tercentenary2008.org exclusively for this sacred Event popularised as 300 Saal Guru De Naal. Guru Nanak Data Baksh Lai Mission, through which all the productions and publications of Brig. Partap Singh Ji Jaspal (Retd.) are released is a totally non-profitable mission. It does not accept any donations, monetary or in kind. Whatever Brig. Partap Singh Ji Jaspal inherited spiritually at the feet of his most beloved master Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj, and at the feet of his most worshipful father, Baba Narinder Singh Ji, is a most precious treasure of heaven. It is only a humble endeavour of this mission to spread and share the divine fragrance and flavour of this treasure with the whole of mankind and the universe. Such a humble effort on such a vast scale appears to have been made for the first time and is spreading like wildfire all over the world. This mission is purely a labor of love of a family group at the lotus feet of the sole beloved lord of the whole creation and nothing more, and is based at 203, Sector 33-A Chandigarh.
